Trade license registration in Czech Republic

We will start by discussing your business plans, so we can advise you on the type of trade license (free, craft, or regulated), tax options (flat rate vs. real expenses), and what documents you’ll need.

You collect all the necessary documents and pass them to our agent. Those might include:

• Valid passport or ID;

• Proof of address (in the Czech Republic);

• Criminal record extract (non-EU citizens only without permanent residency with official translation);

• Consent to use business premises (if applicable);

• Any qualifications or certificates (for regulated trades).

Our agent submits the application on your behalf and registers you with Trade license office, Social security, Health insurance (if applicable) and Tax office. If applicable, our agent will register you for VAT or the flat-rate tax scheme, depending on your income and business setup.

Once processed (usually within a few business days), you’ll receive your živnostenský list and can officially start doing business and invoice for your services.

After setup, our agent guides you through invoicing, necessary minimum monthly payments, taxation and so on. After that we can handle your bookkeeping, tax filings, communication with authorities, and annual tax return – saving you time and avoiding costly mistakes.
